Corrections
Accuracy is central to our work. When we publish something that is wrong, we correct it openly and promptly.
How we correct errors
- Factual errors (names, numbers, dates, results, quotes) are fixed in the story, and a dated Correction note is added at the end explaining what was wrong and what is now correct.
- Updates that add new information to a developing story are marked with an Updated time under the headline.
- Minor fixes such as spelling or formatting that do not change meaning may be made without a note.
- Serious errors that undermine a story’s central point are explained in an editor’s note at the top of the story.
How to request a correction
Use our contact form and choose the corrections subject, or email news@burnvoc.com. Please include the story link, the specific detail you believe is wrong and, if possible, a public source that shows the correct information. We review every request and aim to respond within two business days.
